Just think of making the interception as switching to an offensive or
kick return view. You wouldn't want to return kickoffs or punts in view
that is spun around. The interception spin is neccesary to give you a view just like
returning kickoffs or punts. Because essentially that is what an
interception return is, a return.

You mean how NCAA does it. Which I dislike. Every time in that game I pick the ball off I run the wrong way or run right into folks because of the lack of the whole pause-rotate like in Madden. Or if it does pause-rotate it doesn't do it every time because I've had quite a few times where it doesn't.

Did you look at the video I posted? That's exactly what it shows.

Heh, I played M10 from broadcast ever since they first put it in.

I remember saying "man, I can't imagine playing like that" and then I tried it...and never went back.

A tweaked/moved back (or *gasp* give user camera control) would be great.

Or that FIFA style cam someone posted.

Bring back horizontal football I say. No "Matrix Cam" in Tecmo Bowl, and I'd say that worked quite well?

I don't think it's all that bad. Maybe move it in a little bit.

I could see myself becoming quite fond of that view actually.

im impressed... i tried it once in M10 too, and for the most part i was okay with it, but how do you make up for the deep ball? from what i remember, the camera only zoomed out about 20 yards down field.

Yeah, about that far - if that. You did have a little more room with the far sideline because the score bar wasn't taking up some room.

I tried to read the WR off the snap and how the defense was spreading out (to try to see if it was a zone and what kind, or if they were playing mostly man), and judge if my WR would have an opening based on the route and my read on the coverage.

It wasn't easy to be sure, but it was pretty fun for me. It wasn't realistic in the sense that no QB is blind after about 20 yds, but I felt like I was trying to read pre-snap and just after the snap to make my decision.

They needed to bring it back to make it more playable to be sure, but I think it's an avenue they need to explore more. Maybe for M13, they can improve it.
