the square than L1 used to be in the manual. you can also press square than L2 to change back to you return formation, because that is the first thing they are going to do when you audible to the onside formation. once had a guy burn a t/o after i switched to the onside formations, pretty funny

Dline controlls are as follows

down-power move
left right- finesse move chosen at random
up- im almost sure lets you try to pat the ball down
half circles(left or right)- spin move

i saw that loading screen all it shows is finesse and power no specific moves

Thanks for this thread. Not sure why these controls aren't in the in game manual. Almost like they went out of their way to make this an easter egg hunt.

I saw the loading screen as well. I'm not so sure about the half circle for a spin move. I think maybe you are just registering left or right.

For a pass block I'm just going to leave it as triangle/Y, to help prevent it triggering a hit stick move instead.

No when I push left or right all I get is a rip or swim move if I start out pushing left or right then move it towards the qb (clockwise if I'm the RE and counter if I'm the LE) I get a spin move every time only thing is it will only work if you set up the tackle with a couple speed rushes (which I've been able to do by timing the snap of the ball and pushing down on both sticks)

I just played a game using Shawne Merriman and was able to get a spin move by just pressing left.

Wouldnt it be nice if this control scheme

(L2/LT + pass icon = pump fake to specific receiver)

was actaully used for passing the ball to a specific receiver rather than pump fake.

No icons on the wr unless you look at him then the icon appears so you can pass him the ball.

It wuld then work like this.

L2/LT + pass icon = Stare at a specific receiver. Press the icon again to pass him the ball.

This would make the passing game much better, and make sense as to how your can stare a safety off , or even have then go for a pump fake.
