It should be noted that for catching manually you have to hold the triangle button through entire catch

Does anyone know how to spotlight the opposing receiver when your on defense? I think it's still in the game b/c earlier today I saw a a yellow circle under Santana Moss when I played the Skins and it was after I did some button presses. I can't remember what i pressed though...lol.

When you're looking at your defensive play, select the receiver you want to spotlight by pressing the button above their head

That's what it used to be...

Now Spotlighting a receiver is in the "SHADE" menu...

On PS3: Triangle for coverage audible, then X for individual coverage, select the receiver icon, then press X again to choose Spotlight.

On 360: Y for coverage audible, then A for individual coverage, select the receiver's icon, then press A again to choose Spotlight.

Hope this helps.

It's still R2 + receiver icon to spotlight. That's the way I've been doing it.

Yeah I guess you're right. I did it once and thought I saw my lbs were more aggressive, but I've seen it happen with and without trying to use the old controls.

L3 (left analog stick) on PS3 can be used to go down by pressing it down like a button. Also, I'm pretty sure it can also be used to pass the ball as I've thrown many passes without even pressing any WR buttons, but I may have been pressing the L3 stick kind of hard in a certain direction. I never do it intentionally, but it happens a lot and I'm convinced the L3 stick can be used to pass the ball.
