True, however, the stiff arm does not need to be a magic button that sheds the defender right off like a lot of other guys are suggesting it should be. In real life when a player breaks thru the line and stiff arms a tackler, that usually slows them enough to where the runner is pushed down, or out of bounds by other defenders.

About the only situation where the stiff arm needs to be effective is in the wide open feild with one man to beat, and in that situation just juke him or spin move away from him. Other then that, take what you can get from the stiff arm, thats how it is in real life.

Disagree with the stiff arm being on one button alone, and to me is the reason why it doesnt work as effectively as it was in the past.

I very much so choose how it was implemented in he past. I actually love the running controls back then more.

Its not that much different, but the subtraction of the quick juke was huge in my eyes. That really made me feel like I was truly running the ball, and could hit lanes much better that open up to the left or right of the runner.

I also loved that each arm for stiff arming was specifically giving a button. Right arm right trigger and left arm left trigger. To me that work much better than just hitting the A button. It was also much more accuarte with it response and action.

The two shoulder button method is simply intuitive.

They should have never changed it. Or at least give us the option to change it back.

The Stiff Arm is a lost art in Madden since it moved to the X/A button... It works, but most people don't use it.
