I would believe you are correct!! The guy is exaggerating alot. Like you said, there would be 3-4 guys open, yet the CPU doesn't play like that. In fact, I've never seen more than 3 guys at one time on one guy, but that was also including two linebackers who happened to be dropping in zone while the strong safety was playing man on the tight end. A common coverage of mulitple defenders on one receiver is 2. That is to be expected.

So everything he just said is just a load of crock. Don't believe a word he says about how Madden is unrealistic, because A

Either learn the game of football and play realistically or else stop complaining. If "you" play realistic (which includes not throwing to so-called Quintupled-Covered Receiver), then the CPU will play realistic. That would include not going for it on fourth down every time just because you want to smother the computer.

ShaDAMN! That was the stupidest post I have ever seen, and I have been here through the Skilz era....I think I amb dumber for even reading that, I now have to go re-gain all the knowledge I lost from that post.....and I never noticed the horse guys face untill today...I think he is special.
