Different money demands

I was just trying to resign Dominique Rodgers Cromartie and I noticed something. If you go to the resign screen, then exit and then go back to the resign screen, he will want different amounts of money each time. I just clicked on it and he wants $48.6 million/ $19.44 million bonus over 6 years. Exited and went back, now he wants $56.16 million/ $22.44 million bonus over 6 years. Exited and went back again, now he wants $57.24 million/ $22.86 million over 6 years. It just keeps going up and then goes down and back up. It's weird. I'm not even making any offers, just looking at the amount that he wants.

Huh I never noticed that. I guess there's a bit of a random variable involved in how much the player wants. Neat find.

that happens with EVERY player....i've never seen a 8M gap tho

You actually don't even need to exit the screen. Just switch the years over and over (6 to 7 to 6 to 7 to 6, etc.). If you do this about 10 times or so you'll find the lower bound by which the dollar amount can be set. Interestingly, sometimes it's low enough that the player still won't accept it.

Another thing that I discovered while doing this is that I was then to zero out the signing bonus and they still often accept. I felt that kinda broke the game though so I don't take advantage of that anymore.
