Unfortunately, it won't, or at least not very effectively, since Throw Power is one of the attributes that doesn't progress.

That's why I prefer strong, mobile rookies like Locker to guys like Dalton who may be more accurate, but the accuracy, Locker will pick up in time, while Dalton will never get as fast or strong as Locker.

In my Buccaneers Franchise, Josh Freeman went down for the year in year 2. Josh Johnson is very mobile and is just a good QB

and a QB with good THP, I have him backing up Bree's and if it wasn't for his B potential he would definitely the future QB for the Saints.

80something is all you really need for a QB in my opinion. If you need a 90something QB to be effective and successful then maybe you're playing on too hard a difficulty setting.

I think he is an 80 right now second or third season. Bree's was out for 8 weeks and Kap was on track to be MVP. For me its just a mental thing with the POT rating. I could definitely ride with him as my starter using AP with sliders to make it harder.

Re: Young QBs to Start a Franchise With?

I am split between several young QBs and I want your feedback to help me make this decision

I am looking to start a Jaguar franchise. I am going to make it a run heavy offense since I want to start with a rookie QB and run the offense thru Mojo. I will not pass that often but I still want a QB that can get the job done when I need him to. I have narrowed it down to these three

Keep Blaine Gabbert
Trade for Jake Locker
Trade for Ryan Mallet

At this point I am really split. I do not know much about Gabbert. How well does he develop? Is he worth investing a lot of time in with? I like Jake Locker's style of play with his high throw on the run and play action ratings. His accuracy is a little bit spotty but it is definitely not bad. Mallet was a favorite of mine in college and he has a cannon for an arm. I feel like he could develop into a stud if I put the time in.

Any thoughts or feed back would be great! Thanks in advance!
