How can i get to the coaching saleries thing in Franchise mode. I keep getting the complaint of the coaches not liking there saleries, how can i pay them more.

During the offseason you can Promote/Release/ and hire new coaches.

Having coaches with low salaries isn't a bad thing, it wont hurt your team at all, but if you want the best coaches, you'll have to compete for them in the offseason and that'll force you to pay them more... thereby making that message go away

I actually prefer not to compete with other teams to sign coaches. There are plenty of high ranking O or D coaches that would love to become your head coach. The only coach I bid for are ST coaches.

I usually don't compete for Coordinators, but I only hire head coaches with a work ethic above 80 (preferably 85) and chemistry, motivation, and knowledge above 70 (75 if available).

So I pretty much always have to compete for those types.

anyone hire a former player as a coach? I'm in the 4th season of my franchise so i'm expecting to start to see a few more retired players in the coach pool, but I haven't seen any so far(to be fair, i have forgotten to look for them!)
