There needs to be a 3rd down goal line back position. I like to use my main back on first and 2nd downs in goal line, but on third down lets say I wanna have my bruiser come in and get things done. This would eliminate having to use the formation sub and having the bruiser in on every goal line play. Also I wanna be able to do subs on invidiual plays, not just whole formations.

If they add the ability to create your own substitution packages then they wouldn't need to add goal line back. I would like to see a long snap and holding ratings but more on your topic. It would be cool to have a "push" attribute which would add to the equation especially on goaline. It could be used for defense and offense along with STR. This would make those DTs subbing in to block actually be effective at moving the pile. This would require the OL/DL interaction to get an overhaul.

Why not just use a jumbo formation and sub in the RB of your choice as the tailback? (Assuming you are referring to the goaline formation)

there is a 3rd down back position already, this would be a third down back to only come in on 3rd down AND in goaline, not every third down or every goal line play.

You get 3rd and Goal 2 times a game, at most ... on average.

It only takes a second or two to go to a heavy package, and sub him in there leading up to it. Things like I-Form Tight should be your bruiser RB as it is. Just use that formation, and pound it ala real life.

Subs on individual plays would be nice, but as far as the big back - bring in the jumbo package. It doesn't take that long (it's faster than a formation sub), and it's not cumbersome to change back, especially if you use a specific set for it (like I-Form Tight, your I-Form Normal, Twin, etc are still untouched).
