Are the big shoulder pads for every imported rookie or just some random ones?

I just hate how Plaxico Burress looks in this game. His pads and upper body are insanely huge. It's moronic.

It's because of the player models are jacked up.
If you look they all have wide shoulder pads in NCAA. They just need to make the models like madden and everything is fixed.

It definitely is - with the UDFA class. Some of the better UDFAs are spared, like 70+ OVR and C or better potential, but the rest are almost always suffering from these massive pads. I tend to release them all from all teams every year because of the terrible implementation of UDFAs which is a different issue so I don't usually see them, but it exists solely in Madden too.

It is 100% a problem in Madden. Even if it was NCAA importing the values at fault, Madden is still to blame for not validating input data.

I think that's the reason why they let us edit players with no restriction. These programers are just to dumb or lack the skills needed to make a proper patch. When they were making Madden for the PS2 and regular Xbox it had alot more features and camera view was adjustable to user preference not preset to 3 views. I think when they moved up to the PS3 and Xbox 360 they made the game worse. Or maybe it became more difficult for them to develop the game because their to stupid or lacked the skill set. I always said that Madden on the Next Gen console is just for looks the overal gameplay sucks.
