Stopping Tight Ends online

I like how spotlighting them does absolutely nothing to slow them down as well. I've been decent at stopping them online but I just played someone who abused Vernon Davis and he was WIDE open all the time.

I usually play with SF online, because thats who I have in one of my leagues... but I rarely throw to Vernon Davis more than twice a game.

Stop playing Man Coverage against people that abuse the TE. Also, usering your MLB is going to make it harder on you, if you don't have some sick stick skills.. because you'll over play any out/in, or flag route. Try usering a safety in those cases.

If its 2-3 wide, call a Nickel Cover 2, man up the outside CBs, and reblitz the DE's. You'll get good pressure, and should do well to contain the TE's.
