I have always thought it should be the Super Bowl MVP. Though I wouldn't be opposed to another 2 player cover, like one player from the opposing Super Bowl teams.

Example:

Patriots vs Giants: Brady/Welker & Osi

Patriots vs 49ers: Brady/Welker & Willis

Ravens vs Giants: Flacco/Rice & Osi

Ravens vs 49ers: John Harbaugh & Jim Harbaugh

On a more serious note, the best cover ever: Ray Lewis & Patrick Willis

It usually reflects a feature in the game but if Tim Tebow is not on the cover i would be surprised

It probably going Be Patriots or Giants on cover because all EA Madden NFL developers are going to Indy next week could this be indication that Pats or Giants be on Madden NFL 13 cover we shall find out soon LOL

It better not be Tebow! He doesnt deserve it, He came in, won a couple of games and all of a sudden he is the worlds best Quarterback.! He can not throw! Only run! He had ten completions against the steelers. WoW! Brees deserves it because of all the records he has broken. Simple
