Draft Pick Limit

I was wondering if Madden imposes a limit on the number of draft picks a team can have? (This may have changed over recent editions but I'm mostly concerned with Madden 11)

Also, I was wondering if this a limit on the number of players you can draft, or picks you can have at one time?
(ie. Can i only draft, say, 10 players per season, or can I trade for more draft picks back up to the maximum number after I use some of them)

i think the number of picks you can have at one time is 12, iv never used one in the draft then tryed to get another pick but it should work

The most you can have for a single draft is 20... I have drafted 20 before haha, I usually trade away my late first and some high potential backups for mid round picks

Yeah, you can have 20 drafts for the current draft and 20 picks for the next years draft at one time. Much easier to trade rape in Madden 12

Is the limit 20 picks total or possession unused picks? For example, can I draft 20 players, then trade for picks more in the same draft?

For Madden 12, the limit is 20 (and as far as I know, that limit is total picks for one draft, not that it really matters... I mean how many more than 20 picks are you planning to use in one single draft?)

For M11 and 10, AFAIK the limit was 10
