32 Offline Franchise or create a player(s)?

I know I am not the only one who likes to create rookies after the NFL draft in Madden. I do however need some advice on what I should do.

1.) How many players can you create that will save? I know a few years a go it was only like 5 I want to say.

Should I do a very time consuming 32 franchise? do rounds 1-2 with an NCAA import?

Or

Create players in Create a player? yeah they will be rookies along with the 2011 rookies but that's not too big of deal.
