Ok lets be honest here the people who dont want PI in the game will be the user heavy stick skill studs who are used to running around with their safety knocking people off of their routes, or who get in front of the streak and slow down your WR with no call, If PI was correctly put in, people would have to change the way they play and most wouldn't want that. In madden if you throw a slant the LB can literally impede your route, and then make a play on the ball, and no penalty, in the NFL YOU CANT TOUCH A WR AFTER 5 YARDS, AND WHEN THE BALL IS IN THE AIR!!!!! That is the issue, and lets not talk about throwing a post route against a safety user, he can literally cut you off and then make a play for the ball, if EA just fixed those small issues the game would play sooooo different IMO.
I still play 2k5 and they have it right, ball in the air you better be playing the ball or the flag comes out, and that makes you play responsible user football, and takes away from being able to cover more space than you should, and speaking of things 2k5 got right thats not in madden 12........ well nevermind i have to work tomorrow so dont have THAT much time on my hand lol!!

Exactly,
To this day I still play 2k5 because of the "realism" of simulation. Updated roster guru's make this game so replayable it's not funny. There is no doubt that you have to play the ball and not the reciever. If you play the reciever and bump him after 5 yards in 2k5 it's going to be a flag fest.
I still play every Madden. The gameplay can be really frustrating but the look of the game is so beautiful. I guess that's what keeps me coming back.
I don't think complaining about too many pass interference penalties should be a concern if a correct PI system was in place. Right now it's just an eye candy slider that doesn't work. You can bump a reciever, heck completely impede a reciever from the route and nothing gets called.
A stick skill lover's delight. I'm not the greatest at stick skills so if I tried that I'd miss the reciever and get beaten by 20 yards.
Madden is a fun game, I've played it for years, but you can't call it a true NFL football game simulation. Sure it has some sim in it but any arcadish bull throws that out the door and there is a good bit there.
I know former dev Ian touched up on this a few years ago but I'd like to see a
more updated response instead of going off something so outdated. This issue hasn't been addressed at all this gen Madden.
