Trade Block Offers A Little Wonky?

Just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this...

Just ran into a little bit of an issue...

1st Season of Franchise Mode
Lost to Green Bay in the NFC Title Game. Simmed through the Super Bowl, chose not to advance to next season just yet.

Here is what happens -
+ I put Lance Briggs on the Trade Block (92 OVR) and ask for a 1st Rounder not thinking I will get any offers...

Kansas City offers #1 Overall Pick for LANCE BRIGGS 92 OVR, 30 Years Old....

They would have one of the best LB Corps in the NFL but still... I can't in good conscience take this deal can I?

CHECK THAT...
Jacksonville and Cleveland are also offering their 1st Rd Picks... #2.... and #3....?!

You won't get any offers after Week 6.

If you sim into the off-season, you still won't get any offers because the Trade Block is broken during the off-season, at least that's what most of us here have run into.

You've got to go into the individual trading and pick players and picks yourself.

A number 1 overall pick for a 30Yr old with a 92 overall. That sounds like a legit offer there. I would take that offer in a heart beat.

I hear the sarcasm and the shrewd business man in me wants to take it. The only problem is that I know it isn't realistic in the least and I wasn't expecting it.

In which case, I am curious what you guys think would be a fair trade in this case. I think his OVR dips down to like 89 or 86 after progression.

I believe that is a real move. Pats got a 1st rounder for Richard Seymor from the raiders a few years back. At that time Seymor was around 30 or 31 years old to. So that trade is a real legit one.

well for one al davis was insane so any trade he did shouldn't be used to compare to another

also, the 1st ovr pick for Briggs is ridiculous. I don't know that a team would even give up a 3rd rounder for him IRL

I typically try to stay away from player for picks trades because the cpu tends to undervalue draft picks compared to what teams do IRL
