Skating and foot planting

Just wondering if anyone has ever heard from an EA dev state why they cant fix the skating and lack of real foot panting in Madden? Not looking for speculation as to why it can't be done but an honest to God answer.

I am admittedly unfamiliar with programming but it seems like it could be done, and obviously it is one of the most griped about issues in the game.

So that fact that it has never been fixed and judging by recent vids, still is not must mean it cant be done or at least they are not willing to devote big resources to it. Have they ever publicly said, yeah its coded in and we cant fix until we rehaul for next gen or anything to the equivalent?

It's true that is gripped about. Just like the OL/DL has been a constant eye sore for years (since this current generation has been out). Yet these are among the many things that continued to be ignored year after year.

the biggest problem with zig zag running and foot planting is not that ea cant fix it or improve it. the problem is that if they fix it or try to improve the running game they would loose alot of costumer. do you know how many kids that would return the game if they cant brake four 80 yards runs with darren mcfadden while zig zagin there way to endzone. ea goal is to make money not to make a sim game. i remember back in 2009 when madden 10 came out. the ea madden forum blew up when people cant zig zag run. lol dont expect it to be fix bro
