To anyone who says "who cares, they wear helmets all the time"...that excuse worked up through 09, when there were no cut scenes. With the introduction of cutscenes in '10, we see our favorite players' faces A LOT during a game, both with & without their helmets on.

Pats / Saints / Broncos / Colts / Giants / Steelers...all of these guys are well-represented. Let's see some love for the teams that haven't won a Super Bowl (or have Peyton on the roster) in a long time. I'm not a Bills fan, but even I wondered where Fitzpatrick's beard was while watching the intro.
Again well said! You nailed it with the cut scenes and presentation statement.

Just got a PM surprise there...

from: CerebrumMusica telling me I should read this...

I appreciate the link, but this doesn't apply to Madden IMO. They could do more for the smaller market and less winning of teams and they choose not to. I have modded games and know what goes into texture mapping etc. They choose not to update what can easily be updated.

So apparently we are all spoiled brats because we want our teams, players, and stadiums represented well in a game we all pay for which happens to be the ONLY NFL game? Your blog was a waste of time.

This isn't even an EA v/s _______ <------- insert game company here. It's a matter of somebody getting it right and putting the effort forth. When you update all of your teams key players in the best way possible and fix the stadium flaws etc. Then you can implement Legends into the game and do all this fun extra stuff, until then FIX WHAT'S BROKEN and threads like this will decrease rapidly.

Why not comment on my blog? Why bring this discussion into this thread?

Your teams, players, and stadiums ARE represented well in this game. You want them represented perfectly to your exact liking. Do you realize how many players are in the NFL? They can't create all the faces. It's not easy to keep up with absolutely everything. Besides, they are wearing helmets. You see faces once in awhile. You see shots of the stadium once in awhile. The majority of time spent is on the field.

I just don't understand the philosophy of "if it's not exactly how I want it, it's not good enough". If you aren't happy about the game, why do you spend time feeling sorry for yourself that it's not up to par? Use that passion for something important. It's just a game.

Because after you called us all brats I could care less about your blog, you pm's me the read and I told you my opinion.

How is my team represented well?

-Stevie Johnson - default random cyber-face

-Ryan Fitzpatrick - Rookie Face Scan

-Fred Jackson ( one of the best backs in the league last season ) - Default cyberface

Midfield logo... Heavy stroke on it and deforms the actual shape.

Like it was stated above... I don't expect David Nelson to look like himself, but I don't expect him to have a giant mustache and and way inaccurate skin either!

Yes I am allowed to have gripes and your blog was respectful til you called consumers who just want their teams represented a little better "brats". Go hang out in there and bask in the glory of your post if you can't discuss this like we are doing. here we are talking and venting respectively.
