D-Line Pass Deflections

I would like to see the D line pass deflect button switched to the pressing up on the right analog stick. Since your right thumb is already on the right stick to get around the OL it's difficult to press the triangle/Y button in time to effect the play.

It would be nice to have the option and it might add more more strategy because people might use the deflect button more and pump fakes could freeze defenders if they bite on the fake.

I think jumping with your hands up is an unrealistic part of madden. In the NFL, most deflections at the line happen when a player is engaged, and just sticks a hand up when the QB winds up. It is pretty rare to see the jumping deflection attempt in the NFL.

Agreed. It would be situational so If your engaged and (using the right stick to get around the Tackle) shifting the right stick up would put your hands up. If you are not engaged if would make your player jump.

Jumping is going to be a lot more important now that players on the ground or stepping on feet can trip you. Maybe the jump button (triangle/Y button) needs to be changed for offense and defense.
