What are the major issues of the Madden NFL series?

they still do it even with pass trajectory in NCAA 13 (Demo)

I think awareness is still the driving force behind QB play in both Madden and NCAA.

The pass trajectory additions won't mean much if the AI QB's are still dumb as rocks.

Oh, you mean CPU QBs.

Yes, that's ANOTHER overlooked issue that falls into the A.I. The CPU QB play is TERRIBLE!! I will add that.

I added this to my first post recently. I feel this is also overlooked.The game does not realistically represent the difference between a elite player and a bad player, as a elite player like Troy Polamalu would often make unrealistic picks by zooming at the last second, compared to how a bad safety would often turn around once the QB is looking for a receiver, for example.

They also don't do a good job of differentiating a good QB and a bad QB. THe bad QB's just throw awful passes that are actually unrealistic to the point in which, with no doubt, a kid would make that throw.

They also do a bad job with the good Receiver bad Receiver thing. Apparently, every receiver who isn't that great will always drop a pass if he gets hit, and on a deep route, they just lose the ability to spot the ball and just jump up.

I want to ask this question to everyone. As long as theres no major issues with the changes they made this year, if EA worked on just OL/DL interactions and running animations (foot planting, momentum, the whole 9 yards...) for next year, and did it right. Would madden 14 finally be the greatest football game ever made to date?

I was gonna start a thread asking this exact question but felt this thread would be the right place for it.

Eh, no. There will still be many issues.

The A.I.!!!!!

It's too overlooked. Along with the AWFUL Challenge system, and Penalty system.

And that's only for gameplay.
