Is CO-OP Franchise possible in Madden 13 via system link or online?

It's possible that they ran out of time or, for whatever reason, couldn't get it to work with CCM, but it's also possible they want to completely move away from offline multiplayer. Very true. I could see in M14 them transforming to offline and multiplayer rather than co-op.

Maybe it being single player franchise, they figured they'd cut their losses since it's supposed to be played by yourself. Online Teamplay a la EASHL and the such is still in.

Not really because they don't have a 3 on 3 league and you can't create yourself and play like you can in NHL online leagues

I was impressed with the gameplay...hadn't followed this at all, had my son grab a controller to play franchise on the early release, and found out the bad news. It's too bad, but saves me 60$. There is zero reason to buy this now, because we always played franchise co-op together.

Stupid decision EA.

I'm disappointed not to see any mention of this major exclusion in any of the previews/reviews thus far.

Why can't certain game developers or reviewers recognise the fact that some people enjoy gaming with their friends/family?

Just a quick heads up to anyone who has e-mail alerts setup for this thread; the great news is that co-op will be reintroduced to Madden 13, with 4 player co-op available in Connected Careers mode once the patch arrives in mid October.
