Madden 13 Conspiracy!

I know some of you are conspiracy believers so here is one for you...

EA is very confident in this years offering, so much so that they think it will sell very well, with word of mouth growing sales over time. M13 and M14 will likely be the last full fledged offerings on the current generation of consoles (not counting Wii U). EA PURPOSELY took out features such as fantasy draft, editing, NCAA Import, in order to spur sales for M14. Think about it...these are relatively easy things to implement, thus for M14 all EA needs to do is add these features in, which they will be able to complete by September, add in some new animations, completed by October, and then they can focus all of their efforts on developing M15 for the PS4/Xbox720.

I don't really care if this is true or not, it doesn't upset me either way, it's unfortunate that features were pulled for this years game in the interest of next year's offering, but if it helps the next-gen M15 then I am all for it.

Err, sorry. What is the point of this post again?

EA has made it perfectly clear, that features were 'taken out' as you put it, because they couldn't implement them without failure in the ENTIRELY NEW game mode this year: Connected Careers.

So yeah, they might add them back in next year. Good for the people who use those features.

But what makes you think, that's all they're going to do, when there is already talk about line play being improved next year?

Again: What is the point is this thread? Seems to me like it's just another case of whining about losing features we've been used to.

Enough with the 'I hate this game before I have even played it'-threads. My God.
