I hope EA didn't tone down physics in retail

Its there..i've seen plenty of tackles..what you are noticing is that EA "CLEANED UP" a lot of the goofy-ness of IE... heck even one of the community guys that has the retail full game says its there...you honestly think he's lying? Obviously to be a community guy..you gotta know a bit about the game and the in's and out's of whats involved...its there dude, clear your mind because its playing tricks on you.

Okay, I saw the other one....Meh. There's a whole lot of one-on-one tackles where I don't think we're going to notice IE too much. When players get together is when I think it will truly shine.

I also saw a lot of "avoidance" animations in that Saints video - and I would assume that's the check in place to keep the post-play circus from happening. They'll probably fire when a player is beyond a certain distance away from the play. If they're inside that, then the physics will probably take over and send the player tumbling wherever.

Sorry but in that saints video there wasn't one tackle that showed any sign of IE and i watched all of it. Looked exactly like madden 12 tackling. Hope this was a one-off bug or something as i see plenty of cleaned up IE tackles in other retail videos.
