Lack of IE in the retail version could be a deal breaker for me. I hope its not ture. I wont be able to play til tomorow morning when I get off work : <

Based on what I've seen, (which I know, isn't accurate enough) the physics seem to only be apparent on multiplayer tackles, which is where they often look a little sloppy and nonsensical, but on single player tackles, they look non-existent, and if they are, they're good for the most part.

Have you guys really played the game? The infinity engine has barely been tuned down, and it feels great.

I think the game plays well. There are still some animation aspects of the IE that go with the physics moves to make the plays more believable - for example, a DB tries to make a pick, his hands move into the correct space to allow a swat / pick to occur, vice the old suction occurrence in the older games. The IE really shines when you throw the ball to receivers in traffic. It takes time for the defenders to react, and when there is contact between the receiver and the defender, there is really an unlimited number of outcomes.

Overreaction Sports strikes again.

The IE is tuned very nicely in retail. It has issues that will need to be addressed, however. I go into detail in our review...check it out at the link in my sig.
