Madden 13 Kinect feature is broken

Just got the game today and i tried the connect feature out. for some reason it doesnt respond untill the 3rd or 4th command. my house was completely silent so i know it wasnt an issue of the atmosphere being to loud. all in all its a great feature but i found myself almost getting a flag for taking to long to hike the ball because the kinect wasnt responding like it should

Soem people are saying that only in practice (where it's quiet), or when the fans aren't cheering, is when the Kinect doesn't work.

Yeah i am having the same problem with the Kinect not responding. I though it was cause it was the demo but I have the same problem with the retail game

HOW CAN THEY RELEASE THE GAME WITH THIS GARBAGE FEATURE THAT DOESN'T WORK!!??! I was seriously YELLING HIKE HIKE HIKE HIKE! at my tv to make this damn thing work and it just won't register anything you say. How can they release videos of people visiting EA sports headquarters and show them playing with the kinect on madden13 and their reaction and these idiots saying how FLUID it is and how natural it felt to call out audibles.

I just don't understand. This boggles my mind so hard.
