Re: Quater Length for realistic games

for me, I usually play between 7-10 minutes. 10 is if I really want to try to push as close to real tackle stats as possible, and use a run based offense. but if im going pass happy which is rare, Ill go 7 min due to the odds of a lot of incomplete passes.

any longer and the scores get to be too much. this year may be have to cut a min or two though due to the special teams scores. there are so many its getting ridiculous, and im not even using a speed returner.

Logically yes. I've only been doing the offense one since payoff x difficulty is the best. There's one called Circle the Wagons...January 3rd 1993. I highly doubt that one is possible with an accelerated clock.

Realistic score > realistic stats

I haven't messed with it but on m12 15 min qtrs means scoring AT LEAST 30 per game. With an elite team probably 40. You guys aren't scoring too much?

Re: Quater Length for realistic games

Speaking generally, most people don't adjust their penalty and gameplay sliders to create enough struggles on the offensive side of the ball. As has been mentioned, the default sliders are geared toward more scoring in a shorter period of time, so if you want the play with realistic game minutes or play totals, then you have to adjust things so that it's much, much tougher to get big plays or sustain too many long drives where you don't self sabotage.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Haven't played in a while. I was playing on All-Madden with a few slider adjustments to keep the difficulty high.

Re: Quater Length for realistic games

I played an All-pro game using 15 min quarters and beat the Falcons with my Ravens 47-7. Moved to All-Madden and made a few slider adjustments and now I'm in a battle each game.

You can Ew all you want. IMO it makes for the most realistic gameplay experience, especially at limiting the big plays.

Just played a game with 0 threshold and I actually like it. However, I noticed that my scores started to soar so I need to look into some better slider settings.

Also I needed to keep the holding penalty slider down to 55 as any higher it seemed to get called constantly.
