Seriously? So, instead of going to a friend's house and actually being social, you'll only play online? Now, my friend and I used to just swing two controllers over to the same team and play QB/RB -- but I can definitely see two young brothers being mad because they can't play two teams in the same franchise. If they've only got one PS3, face it -- they are screwed, and that could be young kids.
I am happy, I really am -- but to trumpet that its perfect is a little blase.[/quote]
I understand that many people love fantasy draft and I have stated as much. It just does not matter to me. I understand why they like it and there is an allure to building your own team from the ground up. But here is my thing: in years past I would come on to this site and the Madden threads. Rarely did I see threads along the lines of "who did you take in your fantasy draft." Usually I saw threads like "hows your franchise going" and by and large most of those had people reporting on the real teams and what minor changes they made. Now that FD is out, its the biggest feature ever? (my friend from earlier can point out the hyperbole here
I agree completely with the roster edits. There are two sides to it. One -- I have to start with EA's roster and the second is not being able to make edits once I start. I focused on the latter but was just as unhappy with the former. In this I don't defend EA. But we knew about this for a while.
when I play friends I do it in play now. This may surprise you but I never play online. I am a strict offline franchise player. Offline CC is playable and enjoyable. This outrage over EA neglecting offline CC is without merit.
I am liking the game but I am definitely not acting as if it were perfect. Even the post of mine that you quoted had me agreeing thatsome parts upset me.
