That's why most games have options for something like this.

I'm not meaning to attack you here either but feelings like yours are the reason we also don't have Pass Interference or DPI in the game.

When I asked this question of then director Ian Cumming and (sic) ratings Czar Donny Moore I believe Mr. Morre's exact quote was "who would want a game winning play to be over turned by a PI call, that's not fun I would be pretty ticked."

All we need are sliders for the CPU and the human, Madden has global sliders but if you set them so it's remotely difficult for the human the CPU misses everything, we just need two sliders like all the other sliders in Madden.

I get that but even if pass interference were called more I believe it's something that can be controlled by the user. Just like in a real game a defender has to time his swat and/or hit just right, split second too early and it's PI, a split second too late and the guy makes the catch. And it could be written into the code for the CPU to be a lil too early every once in awhile. Basically, the game just needs to be alot more sensitive to this timing. That's just me though, I do agree with Mr. Moore about that not being fun if it's just called at random though.

Back on the topic of field goals though. Is the idea I suggested (with the moving arrow) not feasable? I think that's the most realistic way to handle it without taking control away from the user.

However, like you said, that's why most games have options for this but this is Madden we're talking about and they sometimes tend to decide for us one way or the other instead of giving us options.
