Playbook pic colours

What do the different colours on the playbook pictures mean? Dark blue, light blue, yellow, pink? Is it just to look good or do they mean anything?

And, speaking of colours - when searching for an answer about this, I found a thread discussing how the different colours of players names signify how tired they are - where do I see this?

Re: Playbook pic colours

Orange/red is the primary route, yellow are pass routes, blue is a delayed route.

I mean the color designates what kind of zone it is but you can see where the zone is supposed to be during the pre play.

Yeah, some coaches use the terms "yellow/blue zones" to explain where to cover. Usually the dark blue zones are deep safeties, light blue zones are flats, and the yellows are the middle range zones. Usually the man coverage plays have the safetys in a dark blue zone, that just means the safeties are staying back in deep coverage.
