Speed Rushing DEs in 3-4 Scheme

If I control the DL player, I get to the QB pretty much every play and with ease. Otherwise, yes, the pass-rushing is terrible.

Line play has been downhill ever since they put in the "pocket" mechanic in '09...completely destroyed the randomness of the trenches IMO....couple that with the AI coverage going downhill as well, it's a pain to play defense against a human.

And I don't know if you remember Illy but in one of our convo's I mention how when they were first talking about creating a "pocket" it was a good idea but now you can see it for what it is, the OT's controlling the animation sequence of the pass rush. Should've known better! They need to remove that aspect and have the OT's kick pedal backwards instead and that will automatically create a pocket, coupled with the OG's doubling down on NT/3T and we'll have a decent rush going. And they can't forget to program the DE's to actually use their moves like they have the NT/3T doing right now.
