How "broken" is Offline CCM/Player vs Offline CCM Coach?

I imagine Offline CCM Player has a lot less factors, such as schemes, signing players etc than Coach Mode.

Is it relatively less buggy than Coach Mode?

I never used to play Superstar mode, but I'm considering starting a CCM Player Offline as a HB until Coach Mode is fixed.

I dont know hoe broken it is, I didnt get that far. It is boring though. Just tried it as an 5'10" undrafted field general QB on CLE. It's awful. I felt like I could do anything I wanted- calling plays, audibles- they could barely stop me. no challenge. I simmed to to the first reg season game again dominated. I had 4 TDs the first half. Punted once. CLE vs PHI. Oh and I love how you cant see any plays your not on the field, except when I PUNTED! So no crucial defensive stands late in games or possible game winning FG by the CPU I presume. But you'll get to see every punt! Just as bad as ever. Why dont they just rip off 2k's myplayer!? AND FIX THE CPU!

I didnt touch the sliders, I just threw it on All Madden and played. But it doesnt matter- I play with pretty much maxed out sliders in coach mode, Ive played the CPU ALOT! I can tell its not right. It still shouldn't be that easy. Im not just cheesing the CPU or nay-saying. And I'm certainly no pro. I want this to be good. Ill try it again with MAX sliders and see.

"broken" is one of the most overused words in these forums. There are a few bugs, but that is to be expected with a game thats less then a month old. The only issues I've had we're with some menu freezing but I've experienced that with both coach and player mode

Re: How "broken" is Offline CCM/Player vs Offline CCM Coach?

Well I just played a half (15 min qtr) with all sliders CPU D-100 PLY O- 0* (PAS ACC -15, FUM -30) and game speed to fast. It is definitely more challenging and more fun to play. I think. I still felt like I was in control of the game but it felt like I really had to be quick and precise. Their rush was pretty good at times. Which is good.
But I did run into this:
With the score 0-0, 4th and G from the 8- Watson breaks the plane for a TD as called on the field. But there is a challenge. The ruling on the field stands. However the next play it's PHI ball at the 1. Score remained 0-0. Whatever.
It was 20-13 at the half.
It still sucks that you cant just watch every/any play you want. It feels like I'm missing something- just kind of boring seeing only offense. Oh and be choosy with runs- bad AI -cant see obvious lanes. I ended up passing nearly every down. But did have a few decent gains on the ground. All in all it's probably just as buggy as coach, But Ill probably end up playing it with proper sliders.

Thanks for the input, guys. I'm going to give it a try.

Anyone have slider suggestions?
