Is it better to upgrade the qb basic or to save for the 20,000 traits ie; clutch,sense pressure, tight spiral.

I've been able to get Ryan Fitzpatrick up 2 OVR rating points by upgrading his medium & deep ball accuracy almost exclusively. And this is through Week 11 of my first season.

I'm using stafford his stats r decent just don't want to waste xp if traits aren't as useful

i drafted my qb in the second round he came in at 77 overall, by week 7 he was a 85 overall and by Superbowl week he was 89

i upgraded his short, medium,deep throw acc to 90,

then put play action on 90
then throw on the run to 90
then acc to 90
and throw power was already on 94 so i left it there

all this done on all madden 5 min quarters

Most traits and awareness means nothing since you're playing the QB on every play.

I upgrade SAC and DAC and see the most improvements.

Does this go game thing for other positions ? Or only qb since ur control him all game

if your going to control that position it wont matter but if its a player on your team you want to use its good for them, the trait will not upgrade your overall at all its best to but those once you finished getting all the skill points the way you like it on the player
