Does 'Tight Spiral' matter???

Ok so take what you will from this. It is a small sample size.

I have my dynasty for the Chiefs that I have been playing. Drafted a rookie QB and had been playing, 6 games, before today. As I was going to progress him I saw tight spiral and decided to purchase. These are my initial results.

Please note all sliders/league settings are the same. I have not progressed any of the receivers at least since the prior game. I am pretty sure I haven't progressed any of them at all yet this season, building for dev upgrades. Also this is the comp scoring it as a drop at end of game box score, not me.

wk1 4 drops
wk2 10 drops
wk3 7 drops
wk4 6 drops
wk5 shut off xbox before getting stats
wk6 9 drops
wk7 bye


Then purchased the Tight Spiral for QB
wk8 2 drops by receivers

Yeah, that part is bugged for sure.

I saw it on my rookie, too. I can also "upgrade" his Force Passes off of Ideal - not sure why I'd want to...?

Same for the Plays the Ball - they loop (though it makes more sense as there's no "best").

I guess they want to just let us "coach up" guys to play somewhat differently. Still don't know why you'd want a QB who suffered a penalty due to his Sense Pressure/Force Passes being off of Ideal.

this is a bit of a sideways off topic but I made the mistake of purchasing ALL the pass rush traits for Aldon Smith and in game he couldn't get off any blockers or he would slip and fall dow n all the time!

I have found the Change Predictability, and Player Consistency traits are huge difference makers if you sim a lot playing coach/gm ccm. IMO

Did it turn all his rush moves to "No"?

Might be bugged like Tight Spiral is where it shows up even if the player has it?

Guess the moral of the story is...check your traits before you buy!

Aaron Rodgers in my CCM does NOT have a tight spiral.
