Is there a difference in QB throwing motion?

I really don't see a difference other than the call for the snap, and the footwork before throwing.

Is there any sort of benefit to picking one over the other? Do some have faster releases? Change accuracy?

Just curious if I'm missing something

not 100% sure but some do have faster or slower releases. I don't think it affects accuracy though. However some players report having better success with certain throwing motions. Its kinda like shot release timing in NBA 2K.

They're mostly there for cosmetic purposes though.

dunno about accuracy, think Tebow has a slower/more plodding release than most tho (feels like it anyway, through 3 games of a preseason with the Jets and he's taken his time getting rid of the ball plenty of times/feels like a slower release than Sanchez or McElroy)
