those type of guys are easy. They only have a few tactics, so you audible correctly on defense and they won't be able to move the rock with unconventional plays. From my expirence they all quit before halftime once you figure them out anyway so its not that bad. Give NHL a try, far more hard to stop exploits.

not cheese you did return his only kick off so maybe that's a week part of his game so he chose to do on side kicks

It's not cheese, in Madden world it's dumb. You have to setup PA in this game, I only run PA after a series of runs or a big run. Anything else usually gets you sacked.

Kicking out of bounds accomplishes the same thing to an even greater degree.

So I think the onside kicking portion is cheese. I once played a game online using the Browns (no one play against my Eagles), and ran two kicks back for TDs...I couldn't get anything else going and went in at the half up by 3, my opponent wisely kicked the ball out of bounds....he won the game because of his wise decision and I commend him for doing it. I would have done the same EXACT thing!
