Should I restart my Connected Carrers offline?

We're approching week 7, and I have yet to start week 1 on an online CC, so obviously I'm way behind. And I don't want it to suddenly end on me when EA kills the servers.

So I'm thinking of restarting it offline, where I'll have all the time in the world to play as far into it as I wish. Also, I can avoid a few mistakes I made in the online version, and have the benefit of the current rosters and stats.

So do you think I should? And what glitches and bugs am I going to see that have yet to be patched?
