Did EA drop the ball on the assisted tackles?

They have had this in the stats for 3 years. One would think in 3 years, they would figure it out by now. They attempted it last year, but failed.

I don't get why this cannot be addressed? It plagues the realistic tackle stats for sure.

Hopefully its just a cosmetic issue and the players progression is still calculating the actual assisted tackles. I know I see plenty of assisted tackles during my games, they just don't register on the stats accurately, and neither do Broken Tackles.

I also see plenty of tackles, but we shouldn't have to struggle to get those. The gang tackles should account for something as well as any "assisted tackles" after a complete tackle has been made.

It kind of sickens me that EA undermines this area here as if it never existed or they just don't want to mess with it. It's laziness at it's best not to mention their whole approach to patches when they said that they will "address Madden 13" this year like no other.

Reminds me of that motto "if it's in the game, it's in the game". Where is that motto?
