Sim Stats are Crazy

Sim stats favor the QBs too much. AND FAVOR THE OFFENSE WAY TOO MUCH.

-Im seeing teams score 70+ points in regular season games.

-Too many QBs are putting up elite numbers, mainly yards and TD passes.

-Only QBs win offensive awards.

-Too many running backs are rushing for 1,000 yards.

Before I bought the game, I heard simmed stats were good. Good if this was an AFL game where offense matters.

EA needs to make their football game more defensive.

Just super glad that exclusive deals are gone. I know another company will make an NFL game, there is too much money to be made off of it. Especially on how many people will make the switch from EA depending on which other company would make a game first.

Hopefully someone does to Madden, what 2K did to NBA Live. Kill it.

I agree with you though in all seriousness. It's bad. I had a CPU controlled QB (I think it was Sam Bradford) throw for 6700 yards and 67 TDs with 13 INT in a SINGLE season. It's just horrible.

Best Madden in a long time, but there are a lot of issues with it. Ball Hawk like in the other thread, this stat problem. I will say this though, I haven't yet used custom sliders and I may try to do that soon.

Custom sliders will help your played games, but not the simmed ones.

Simmed stats this year are flat out ridiculous. There have been numerous threads in here to that regard.

What amazes me is how it can go so far south when Madden 12 had the stats reasonably close. I think one of the complaints in Madden 12 was that the QB yards were on the low side, so they compensated by going way overboard this year. Ergo, the standard 52-45 simmed games scores with 5+ TD passes for each side every week.

Here's hoping for patch #4 , or maybe just one of these "Tuner" updates they tout so often. You're probably more likely to spot a Yeti in Miami before you see one of those.
