end of season 2 is a game killer

whats up with the off season after season 2. I read that it did not work correctly, but I did not realize it was this bad. not only are the cap numbers screwed up, but it seems as though they wont even let you apply a franchise tag on a player.
is there a work around for the off season.
I do not know how this could get through testing/sqa?

I am in season three offline and have yet to encounter this cap glitch. There are some theories floating around as to what causes it, but I don't think anything has been pinpointed as yet. On line supposedly got a fix for this while leaving the off liners to swing in the wind.

As I recall, you are hosed for this off season, but things should return to normal (normal for EA, that is) at the start of the next season.

As far as how it got by testing - there obviously is no testing - it would have taken somebody just five minutes of playing CCM to note several glaring game deficiencies right off the bat.

They knowingly ship a broken game to us. We are their non paid beta testers.

I suppose they figure they'll use patches to fix what they already know is broken prior to shipping, but after 4 patches they have fixed essentially nothing of consequence. Now they need patches for the patches.

Reprehensible business practices IMO. Epic fail by any measure.
