I think I got a glitched version of M13

There's no way such AI was programmed into the final release of a console game. I know this happened frequently in old versions of Madden, but for a 2012 release, I'd imagine this must have been fixed.

Does anybody know how I can go about getting a copy of the game with the final code?

I don't think your problem is the game. The problem is that you are setting your expectations way too high for Madden 13. This game lasted a month in my console for reasons just like this. Any way you spin it, Madden 13 is a horrible game.

That play is one of thousands of examples showing a game willing to blatantly negate all player ratings and positioning. Each do nothing less than disrespect simulation and realism for the sole purpose of scripting competitive games.

I don't see a problem in that video. The DB is not looking at the ball when he "moves away from it". From a 'realistic' standpoint it looks like he's trying to undercut an out route. I see a much bigger problem (in terms of realism) with dbs who have eyes in the back of their heads and go after a ball while facing away from it.
