Madden News?

Has anyone heard when we will get any news for Madden 25 or NCAA 14 for that matter? It seems a little past due compared to previous years.

I hope they give us news soon and confirm a PS Vita version...so far all we know is it is coming out for PS3/360

It just seems weird that there isn't more information. Especially for NCAA 14. I've never played PS Vita, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did come out with one.

No news is good news, imo, because maybe that means marketing is less of a focus than implementing actual football. I know gamers crave early insight, I normally do too but this year I wouldn't mind if they went radio silent until they have actual game play videos to show.

Something like the first info released being a full four quarters of game play, 5:00 quarters on a Monday morning, give gamers until Thursday to try to spot what's new/different, then on Thursday have the devs release their videos and blogs with specific details. Let the game market itself because if that were the case, it would have to be made a far better product.

Except for the Ian Cummings era, news didn't cone out until after the draft. As Big said, I would rather have less news early. Hoping they let the game instead of marketing do the talking.

At the moment the only real news we have is something to do the progression system as josh looman an tweeted about it saying there were things they were going to change and obviously the name change. That's pretty much all we have to go on.

As stated above, probably won't happen till after the draft.

They will spend the month of March marketing for the cover athletes fan voting process.

This is most likely what is going to happen. Although I will say that even though it would be nice for the game to do it's own talking, there is no way that EA Sports lets that happen. After all, that is why they have a marketing team. A.K.A the Hype Team.
