Quarters Defense Personnel question

I got a question of personnel for this defense. On my depth chart, I have a 5th string CB, but every time I choose a quarters defense, the 5th CB on the field is my starting SS, and they put my second string SS playing the SS spot. Maybe I'm missing something, but why is it doing this?

That's the default quarters setup in game. They bring the #1 SS down to the line and put his backup up high. I don't remember if there is a right stick audible, but you should be able to formation sub those positions.

yea you got it right you hit the sub button and then ue the right stick to pick the plyer you want to sub
