Accel or Strength at C? At RT?

Which player would you rather have at C and which at RT, and why?

Player 1: Strength, 98. Accel, 63.

Player 2: Strength, 88. Accel, 85.

Depends on your running style, but I'd prefer Player 1 at RT and Player 2 at C.

ACC is really only needed for pull blocking and second level blocking in this game while STR determines how long blocks are held in both the run and pass game.

The ACC for the Center will help him take linebackers out of run plays between the tackles while the STR for the Right Tackle helps hold the edge on off-tackle and stretch plays.

I use a power run scheme, so #1 is my choice, but I love counters so my guards need ACC like player #2. Centers I like to have a high strength rating too.

I just realized when I move OL from their set position to a different one in the depth chart their pass block or run block decreases. Anyone else noticed this/have thoughts on it?

I think when you move them to a different position like tackle to center that will happen, but a left tackle to right tackle it should stay the same if I'm not mistaken.

Even moving from left to right it changes. Makes sense in real life, but not sure what to trust in Madden

Re: Accel or Strength at C? At RT?

I think both would be great to be honest.. But #2 is interesting since 88 str for a C seems quite alright (compared to other players at the position), so the acc could prove nice

But I think good acc OL is mostly for zone blocking though

I put the 98 strength at Center and the Accel guy at RT. The 98 strength guy is an animal, completely took DL out of the game. It was also nice having the Accel guy at RT for stretch plays, if he took care of his guy or the RG did he'd look to pick the LB or DB.
