Accidently controlled all CPU teams in Franchise

I started my Owner's Mode and thought I just had the Redskins, but I accidently put it on 32 teams, so all their responsibilties (depth charts, signing players) are assigned to me. How do I just control the skins?

No problem. You just go to the coaches options screen and to management. Set all duties to CPU except for the Redskins.

Actually, I have it that way now cause that way you can control everything and change depth charts depending real life and stuff like that when you want. You actually did yourself a favor. You just need to put the CPU to control all the management stuff.

Re: Accidently controlled all CPU teams in Franchise

I ALWAYS play franchise/Owner Mode this way...

It also give you the opportunity to adjust your oponents gameplan sliders to make them run the ball more realisticlly and pass with more variety and balance...

Just move the other teams sliders 5 to the left for both pass/run and aggressiveness...

You'll play againsta much more realistic attack...

Just make sure you put everything back or the simmed games will have wack stats...

For some reason the games you sim play acording to these gameplan sliders a lot more closely in simmed games as opposed to the ones you play vs. CPU...

This also makes sure that oyu can monitor which FA's are signed by which teams during the season...

The only thing you sacrifice by doing it this way is trading block...

Which is pretty useless IMO anyway...

So...

HONOR THY ERROR AS GOOD INTENTION...

Putting all 32 in the mix rules IMO...

Good luck...

Aw man....

I love the trading block....

Yesterday - in an attempt to draft Larry Fitzgerald or Sean Taylor, I spent an hour on the trading block until I finally was able to trade up 20 spots in the draft (in return for my first rounder and my starting defensive end - rated 85 overall). Sure enough, The Lions drafted Fitzgerald with the third pick and the Chargers drafted Taylor with the 9th pick (I had the twelfth pick).

This was sooooooooo disappointing....

I love this game!
