That's what I was thinking, if you want to change a players position before you start your game, just edit the roster.

what i want to be able to do is gm/coach offline single user.

so 4 years from start and i want to move a de to lb or cb to s either rookie or vet, reading this i cant do that?

given the joys of the depth chart id like to move interior lineman around, the number of good Cs ifind is minimal so id like to move #2/#3 G or even a #2/#3 tackle to C, FB to TE, HB to FB etc etc
