Player Lock

Anybody know if this feature will finally be implemented this year? I always play with my buddy on the same console and we both create players and love playing with 1 guy.

It's why I might go with NCAA

i doubt it's in / am sure i've read that it isn't, but me and my mate do this too and it's surely just a case of not switching?

From what I have heard there is confirmed no player lock. I believe it was said in the Total Control Passing Thread. They asked a dev at E3 who said no one asked for the player lock or associated camera so they didn't add it.

I never played CCM as a player but I would assume they have a player lock associated with that.

NO player lock because developers said we never asked for it even though I'm pretty sure we have been. So everyone ask for it so next years version there is no excuses.

Sent petitions for 3 years now and nothing but generic responses so I doubt asking them will help.

This is the kind of omission that makes me wonder, when Madden devs say they read these boards, what threads exactly? lol

It would be great to have an actual Madden game play dev or three be a part of the OS community and interact consistently, not just when it's time to sell the game. I really enjoy and appreciate Chase B and Christian Mcleod not forgetting their OS roots and we need more interaction like that from others. I think being a part of the OS community would help them see some things from a different POV. I have become aware of many issues that gamers have, that don't/didn't effect me personally, just from interacting here on OS. OS, among other community websites, seems to be an underused resource by Tiburon.

I understand the whole thing with some people wildin out when they know it's a Madden dev, so maybe they could interact using OS aliases, lol.

I agree. It's funny Russell from The Show is always on here looking for suggestions and then implements them into the game. And he added himself as a minor league player. I was so appreciative that he actually went out of his way to seek out users opinion and implement them I not only kept him in the game once I downloaded rosters but I even gave him a huge ratings bump.

To make that long story short I completely agree with you. Seek out CURRENT users in your game and ask them "How do we get better". Don't add gimmicks to draw in a new audience. Please the folks that support you first.
