Post stories of stupid CPU decisions like the CPU cutting a really good player

This one from my Madden 2008 franchise (2013 rosters, year 2) blew my mind..



At least the fans know how dumb it was

Thought this was more going to be about CPU kicking 65 yard FGs and coming up 15 yards short or standing in the pocket for 10 seconds and eating a strong side sack from a 330 lb run stuffer

I was up 16 points with 2 minutes to go, the CPU has the ball. Incomplete on 3rd down. Out comes the punting unit (I guess they have given up). They punt it. I knee it.. TIMEOUT CPU. They tried to get the ball back

I've seen to many to meantion but the ones that always get me are they move the ball into fg range then when a fg can win the game they throw on all 4 downs lmfao.

hopefully on 25 the cmp will be different and atleast try kick the fg for the win or atleast play smarter.

Haha, yeah that's insane - had the same thing happen when they came up for FA in mine. Heck, RG3 signed in Carolina...as a back up...that's a dumb move on two parts. One, RG3 would start anywhere else just about and two, Panthers already have an RG3...he's named Cam Newton.

So why did Griffin go there and why did Carolina pursue him?
