Anyways it has the formula built in to calculate the overall for every player and it does calculate it on every player so you can compare EA's overall to the exact number. It's very accurate but not perfect. The lack of perfection comes from the fact that the database does not have the exact overall (like 96.4 instead of just 96) due to rounding. So the cpu doesn't calibrate it perfectly but within rounding almost everyone is bang on with a few exceptions here and there (and they are off by no more than 1 point).

The first tab is the Live ratings and calculation. You change the player's position his overall gets re-calculated. Want to see what Cam Wake is at ROLB or DT? Go ahead. Changing their position or any attribute will re-calculate the overall at the end (the duplicated columns in the second half do the calcs - you can hide those but don't delete obviously). The second tab is the formula breakdown (don't touch) with the third tab just having some notes. AP and JJ Watt are the only guys rated over 100 (102 roughly). A few players overalls are off due to the wrong position - kind of wierd but I don't know why.

wish i had this on my first season, but i'll just chalk it up to a rookie gm's learning curve... now i have something to browse during downtime at work

btw, does anyone know if when you sim a game, if all attributes calculate into performance? for example, does route running or spin moves really effect the game?

EA update 2.rar is the latest update from EA, from last Friday, September 6th. The Stock Roster.rar file is the roster shipped with the game.

I'm making a slightly edited formula file, will post it with Rudy's approval:

-removed the 2nd line in first sheet because you couldn't sort (not easy when looking for a particular player or want to sort ratings).

-hid the attributes calculations (between BA and CY). All attributes are now on one page

-working on having the OVR calculator better placed/more obvious to see

-edited the comments section.
