switch between teams mid game, simple plea

Ive read the QA thread, and I know Im not the only one, Ive found the best way to get my football fix is to play both offenses and set the gameplay sliders to fit that instead of drive myself crazy trying to get both sides to play right.

I can play both sides and call plays and make playcalling decisions that (in my opinion) are whats best for the situation. I do this in ncaa and its a blast. No reason MADDEN should limit us. It was in prior iterations, theres no way you can tell me it messes with season goals, and I know there are others out there who want this. PLEASE SPEAK UP AND CHIME IN!

I don't do it and don't get it but I know my brother does this too and really wants it.

If someone can confirm for me one way or the other I would appreciate it.

Arent YOU limiting yourself by playing only offense?
Fine with me but I could never do that for any length of time, I enjoy playing Defense and Hittin too much.

Having said all that, I cant remember a sports game that didnt let u pause and switch teams.

I understand where youre coming from, Ive tried to play just my team against the cpu, Ive found over time personally that I just enjoy playing both offenses, its not for the challenge of winning or losing its for good football.

what does it for me is executing the way teams do (again in my opinion) in real life and gameplanning and playing according to their personnel against the opposing defenses personnel. I think I call a better game than the cpu (not a hard one there) and generally get games with better results.

I have no problem with people playing however they want, what I do have a problem with is EA limiting how you want to play. The reference above was to the reason EA gave for not being able to edit ratings inside CCM. It was because it messes with season goals. Well for switching between teams midgame, what good reason is there not to have it?

For the first post yes its confirmed its not in the game once again this year.

I don't think they allow a game in CCM to start with two controllers.
