Kicking meter not responding?

Yea, what he said. It sounds like your controller. I was having the same problem until I switched out my controller.

You're right, it was my new wired controller that seems to work fine otherwise.

I hooked up my wireless one and it's fine. odd

I had this exact issue only mine wasn't responding whenever I would push the stick straight up. It happened in the demo and then started happening in the retail and I thought it was the game until I started using another controller.

I swear they make the wired controllers to just self destruct after about 2 months. I've gone through like four or five of them that just have something go wrong for no reason, but I can throw the wireless ones through a wall and they'll work for years.
